i’m never sure where a name comes from - if it’s some kind of code for someone from my life, or if i truly just like the sound. a lot of times listening back i really try to apprehend myself: who was that? was that about this? did i say this but mean something else?

ultimately, i’m learning not to take the process too seriously. my songs are “about” a lot of things - but essentially, and most significantly, they are about me.
